In a world were security and authentication are always a major concern, Algotronix solutions are leading in the military, communications and even gaming industries. Algotronix' Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) IP cores offer a well proven and competitively priced solution. Algotronix has been shipping AES cores since 2004. Its AES cores have been selected by many of the largest defense electronics companies and have been deployed by four NATO countries. Algotronix’ products include the two basic AES cores: the G2 and the G3. Both can be selected for encrypt-only, decrypt only and encrypt/decrypt operation. Both AES cores are efficient and flexible and can be used in many Xilinx FPGAs, ASICs and other FPGA vendors. The AES-GCM core is built around the G3 and adds authentication and confidentiality (IEEE 802.1 MACsec). A version is available for guaranteed 10G throughput under worst case conditions in a Virtex-5 FPGA. The cores are normally supplied in source code form to allow a full security review. Site and multi-site license are tailored for you. Algotronix also provide core customization services, with local support by Nisko Semiconductors. For more information visit Algotronix’ website: www.algotronix.com G2: The G2 core uses fixed 32 bit data path and is the lowest cost option available. It is also certified by NIST for compliance (Cert #347). G3: The G3 core supports a selectable datwidth from 8 to 128 bits. It operates on 128 bit blocks, with keys of 128, 192 or 256 bits and is NIST certified (#953). Another AES feature supported is the Key expansion – Expands a short key into a number of separate “round keys” used in the encryption. The main modes of the core include: Electronic codebook (ECB) Cipher-block chaining (CBC) Cipher feedback (CFB) Output feedback (OFB) Counter (CTR) Algotronix holds the prestigious awards of Electronics Innovation 2008 from the IET and the Emerging Technology Company 2008 from the UK’s National Microelectronics Institute.
